What To Expect
Consult
To start your cataract surgery journey, you will come in to see one of our amazing surgeons for a consultation. At this visit you will be given all of the information and lens options available to you as well as perform all of the necessary testing for your procedure.
Pre-Op
On the day of surgery, you will be brought to one of our pre op bays and go over all of the information you and your surgeon discussed and begin with your numbing and dilation drops.
During Operation
Once your preop is done, we will give you anesthesia to relax you. At this point you will be brought into an OR that is prepped and ready for you. We will clean off around your eye and get you ready for the surgeon.
During Operation
Once the surgeon comes in the procedure will start. You will be relaxed and reassured by the staff that you will feel no pain and you will be out of their in no time!
Discharge
After the surgery is completed, you will be brought to our discharge area where we will have your family waiting on you. You will be given instructions, and a clear patch over your eye to protect the eye for the next few days. Once this is done you will be wheeled out to your car and return home until your follow up appointment.
